Altecnic, the UK's leading supplier of hydronic solutions and part of the Caleffi Group, has further expanded their Dirt and Air Separation range with the official launch of the Dirtmag Mini™ filter. The DirtmagMini™ has been designed with Installers in mind to offer the most flexible and high performance compact dirt separation solution on the market.

The Dirtmag Mini™ includes unique features allowing for flexible installation such as the quick-fit system and interchangeable compression connections for horizontal, vertical or angled installation. An innovative self-cleaning function allows installers to drain debris from the system without opening the filter body and the full-bore isolation valves ensure ease of servicing.

Reinforcing its credentials as a specialist supplier of quality heating and plumbing components for trade and consumer markets, Altecnic has received a coveted award from NSF International.

The global water testing, certification and auditing organisation has recognised Altecnic's adjustable T-type thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs). These products are the first to be TMV2-accredited against the recently revised 2017 version of the European Standards BS EN 1111 and BS EN 1287 which ensure thermostatic products maintain safe temperature water delivery for bath, shower and washbasin use.

In a first for the UK's plumbing and heating industry, the Altecnic Intaball range of gas lever ball valves is one of the first UK products to be certified to EN 331:2015 (Class C).

Committed to achieving the latest industry standards, Altecnic has been working closely with BSI's Loughborough-based Product Certification Team and Centre of Excellence for the past two and a half years. Now, the company can demonstrate compliance with European Directives and Regulations relating to the ball valves and OEM equipment it manufactures and supplies across UK domestic and commercial markets.
