Combining a powerful, Neodymium magnet with Hydronic Particle Separation (HPS) technology, the filter is able to capture market-leading levels of system debris to deliver the ultimate in system protection. The TF1 Omega Filter also offers flexibility, with the option of installing the device onto horizontal or vertical pipework in both flow directions, and with the choice between valves or a slip socket connection.

Despite Brexit fears thousands of jobs in the energy sector are still up for grabs.

Under a government initiative to ensure the UK becomes more energy efficient, around 53 million smart meters, which monitor both gas and electricity usage, are to be fitted in over 30 million homes and businesses in the UK by 2020.

 

The project needs around 11,000 qualified engineers to fit the meters but a significant skills gap in the sector has resulted in a shortfall, with leading trade course provider ECTA Training estimating that up to 6,500 smart meter engineer jobs are still available.

The boiler and home emergency insurer has revealed that the value of servicing and breakdown jobs carried out by its engineer network from May to September was£6.4million*.

This is a vital boost to the thousands of independent businesses who make up the CORGI HomePlan network as they have guaranteed levels of work throughout the year.

 

CORGI HomePlan - founded in 2011 - is also keeping its engineers busier each year as more customers come on board, with the 2016 summer work levels 42 per cent higher than those in 2013.
