Flame Heating Group is continuing with its expansion plans in Scotland, with the launch of another major branch, in Edinburgh – marking the company’s third opening in the country.
The fast-growing independent Heating & Plumbing merchant has invested £100,000 into the launch of the branch, which has initially created two jobs.
Based at Unit 15 Marnin Way, West Edinburgh Business Park, South Gyle, the 3,283 sq ft trade counter will be led by Investor Director Adam Killen.
Adam, 30, from Dunfermline, has more than 10 years’ industry experience having started out as a sales advisor with a national merchant before progressing to become branch manager based in Edinburgh. He was then a Key Account Manager covering the East of Scotland, before joining Flame.
The Edinburgh opening follows launches in Glasgow and Ayr at the start of 2018, taking Flame’s branch count to 11 throughout the UK.
Danny Byrne, Development Director for Scotland at Flame Heating Group, said: 
“This is another significant investment by the Group, which strengthens our position in Scotland with the launch of a branch in one of the country’s main cities. Established in 2011, Flame Heating Group is the fastest-growing Heating & Plumbing merchant in the North East of England, employing in excess of 50 staff.
The company specialises in heating spares for commercial and domestic applications, renewable energy solutions and bathrooms, working with a number of leading, global manufacturers.
Adam Killen added:
